Industrial Maintenance Technician- $25+
CES/AWS is looking for an industrial maintenance tech in Madison Alabama.
Position Overview:
Starting on 1st shift for training, you will eventually transition to the 2nd shift. This role is perfect for someone who is looking to gain hands-on experience and grow their expertise in industrial maintenance. Key
Responsibilities:
Perform routine and preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly.
Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
Dismantle devices to access and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools.
Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments, using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.
Repair or replace defective equipment parts and then test the equipment to ensure it is operating correctly.
Follow safety procedures and use protective equipment to ensure a safe work environment.
Qualifications:
No prior experience is required; comprehensive training will be provided.
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
High school diploma or equivalent.
