as an On Premise Sales Representative in Huntsville Al.
This position is to help enhance presence in retail outlets, in regards to customer service.
Responsibilities:
Fulltime position.
Must be able to travel throughout the sales territory, visit customers, receive and transmit customer orders.
The customer base is an established account base which consists of stores, restaurant and clubs.
As a sales representative, you are responsible for achieving and exceeding goals for beer and wine sales within your territory.
Must ensure product representation and excellent customer service.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Position Duties include, but are not limited to:
Maintain a weekly itinerary for all accounts with scheduled call back days along with corporate account calls Follow procedure and achieve all sales goals Develop, maintain and expand existing brands within the portfolio by providing extensive customer service, including making sales presentations, coordinating promotions, seminars and conducting product tastings and staff trainings.
Develop marketing plans and strategies to achieve long term goals and opportunities.
Ability to prioritize and work in a rapidly changing, fast growth environment.
Work in conjunction with the office staff, warehouse, delivery, corporate office and Human resources to ensure a teamwork atmosphere and maintain a positive attitude.
Attend all sales meetings promptly with enthusiasm.
Keep up with tracking goals and administrative detail.
Show professionalism in all areas at all times:
o Attire o Conduct o Time Management o Proper and thorough follow through o Sales presentations and proposals o Customer relationships Carry out all phases of job responsibilities as directed by their sales supervisor.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 21 years old.
2 years minimum outside sales experience in the beverage industry (wholesale, supplier, restaurant or hotel experience preferred).
Good oral and written communication skills.
Working knowledge of basic computer applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint ) College degree preferred, however High school diploma or GED equivalent required Excellent interpersonal, communication, mathematical, time management and organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize and work in a rapidly changing, fast growth environment.
Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
Must possess valid AL Drivers license.
Must have reliable transportation and the ability to maintain 100/300/100 insurance limitations.
Must be licensable under the guidelines determined by state alcohol regulations Background Checks (i.
e.
Police backgrounds, reference checks) Motor Vehicle Record will be pulled to establish employment eligibility:
Cannot have DUI, reckless driving or hit and run in past 5 years.
Cannot have more than 2 moving violations in past 3 years.
Drug Free Workplace.
Working schedule varies; candidate must understand there may be late night and weekend events he/she will be expected to attend.
Candidate will be expected to keep account files updated and current (files to include account history, wine lists and drink lists and any other important information that is needed to manage territory).
