Summary:
Communicating with clients by managing intake of clients and assisting attorneys in case preparation in immigration matters including humanitarian, asylum, removal and family-based cases.
WORK SETTING:
Respected, innovative law firm with a growing client base with an office in the Huntsville area.
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Well-organized individual with strong communication and writing skills, who is self-motivated, speaks Spanish fluently, and is interested in working with the immigrant community.
HOURS:
Part-time to Full-time CONTACT:
Bayley Gamble PRIMARY ACTIVITIES AND TASKS:
-Facilitate intake of clients by phone and in person -Communicate with clients regarding case status and requirements -Prepare immigration applications and supporting documentation -Participate in trainings on immigration and related topics -Other tasks as assigned by the attorneys MINIMUM
Qualifications:
-High school degree -Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred -Bilingual fluency (Spanish/English) -Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail -Strong writing ability -Outstanding communication skills -Experience working in an office setting -Proficiency in computer programs (including Microsoft Office:
Word, Excel, and Outlook) -Experience working with the immigrant community -Knowledge of and/or experience in immigration law is a plus PAY:
