JOB DUTIES:
The Unit Director is responsible for all aspects of restaurant operations.
The Unit Director leads a team of up to 5 managers and up to 50 restaurant crew.
They must lead by example and ensure that the team exceeds all customer's expectations.
They are responsible for enforcing company policies, and must be adept at motivating others.
Unit Directors are directly responsible for the hiring of crew members and maintaining appropriate levels of staffing.
They are also directly responsible for the training and development of crew members and Co-managers.
They must maintain a safe and sanitary environment for employees and guest, and they must understand and implement all government laws and regulations.
Unit Directors are 100% responsible for restaurant profitability.
They must be able to implement and maintain procedures and programs to improve the restaurant's performance.
REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent Minimum 5 years restaurant general manager experience.
Experience with a high volume concept is preferred Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check Must be available to work days (beginning at 4:
30 am) or nights (as late as 11:
00 pm) seven days a week.
Successful completion an eight week training program Must be available by telephone 24 hours a day Must have the physical endurance to be the manager-in-charge of a restaurant for a ten to twelve hour period, including performance of crew duties Must have high standards of professionalism in dress, manners, conduct, and speech Must have a strong sense of urgency and excel in a fast paced environment Must possess a leaders eat last mentality Must be punctual and dependable Must be extremely organized and have strong time management skills
