HR Specialist Team Member Relations (Night Shift)

Vaco is assisting a client finding a HR Specialist- Team Member Relations. THIS IS A NIGHT SHIFT POSITION 7:
00 PM - 3:
45 AM . The Team Member Relations Specialist performs human resources-related duties at the professional level and may carry out responsibilities in some or all the following functional areas:
employee relations, employee engagement, training, conducting investigations, managing corrective actions, benefits administration, coaching of night shift leaders, and ensuring legal compliance.

Essential Functions (but are not limited to):

  • Ensures safety of self and others by following all Safety Policies/Procedures and wearing all required PPE.
  • Builds relationships with all team members at all levels to foster an open and communicative environment.
  • Acts as point of contact for questions on company policies and procedures.
  • Leads all night shift Human Resources activities including coaching and development of leaders.
  • Partners with night shift team members and leaders to communicate various human resource policies, procedures, laws, standards, and other government regulations.
  • Manages and tracks attendance for night shift activities.
  • Manages benefit activities for night shift including Open Enrollment, providing team member support, and responding to general questions.
  • Conducts exit interviews and provides update to TMR Assistant Manager and HR Manager on any concerns for review and change management activities.
  • Responds to and participates in investigations for employee relation issues such as employee complaints, harassment allegations and civil rights complaints communicating to HR leadership throughout investigation process.
  • Supports and conducts team member monthly, quarterly, and annually to improve team member satisfaction rate.
  • Maintains and coordinates employee recognition programs.
  • Partners with EHS to implement and maintain safety compliance and best practices.
  • Participates in continuous improvement activities.
  • Dedicates time each shift to actively being on the production floor talking to team members and identifying any needs or concerns.
  • Assists in management of Human Resources records.
  • Regular attendance is required.

Required Qualifications, Education, and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field or equivalent experience
  • Strong understanding of US labor law and regulations
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and understand HIPAA law compliance.
  • Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal and public speaking.
  • Strong problem-solving skill with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Experience in a team-based environment.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities, issues, projects with successful delivery.
  • Ability to work independently, successfully and efficiently.
  • Excellent judgement and decision making in complex situations.
  • Able to create and modify documents in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Must be self-motivated, self-directing with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills required.
  • Ability to work overtime including weekends as business needs may require.
  • Ability to travel 10%, domestically and internationally.

Preferred Qualifications, Education, and Experience

  • PHR/SPHR or SHRM CP/SHRM SCP Certification.
  • 5
    years professional experience in HR.
  • 3
    years in fast paced manufacturing facility.
  • Experience working as sole HR leader.
  • Knowledge of American Sign Language a plus.
  • Ability to speak and interpret Japanese or Spanish a plus.

THIS POSITION IS NIGHT SHIFT 7:
00 PM - 3:
45 AM Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
