easyvetclinic Madison easyvetclinic Madison Madison, AL Madison, AL Part-time Full-time Part-time Full-time $15 - $16 an hour $15 - $16 an hour Duties Duties and Responsibilities - Restraint of patients during examination and procedures - Confidently interact with clients and provide client education - Maintain medical records - Obtain patient vitals and medical history - Communicate client concerns to veterinarian - Assist with collection of laboratory samples - Administer medications or treatments under direction of veterinarian - Cleaning and disinfecting examination rooms and equipment - Assist with radiographic exams Experience - Previous experience working as a veterinary assistant or similar role is preferred - Knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal care, and animal husbandry is highly desirable - Familiarity with dog training, pet grooming, kennel operations, and animal restraint techniques - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and team members As a Veterinary Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you can make a difference in the lives of pets and their owners.
