Fully overhauled and restored Vintage Majestic Large Format camera/video mount on Tiffen metal Tripod. Telescope in photos is for demonstration only. (No telescope with this sale) Center pedestal extends from low to fairly high. All metal (aluminum) construction, very steady setup. Great for Telescopes and Large Binoculars. Has Vixen/Celestron style dovetail clamp to quickly mount your telescope or binos. Also great for large Video cameras, or any other cameras, where you want a very sturdy mount. (Has standard 1/4 x 20 stud that can also be used, under the Vixen clamp) These sought after mounts have a crank (with gearing inside) that lets user quickly crank the mount from horizon(Level) to the zenith( straight up), all the while, your attached instrument stays constantly balanced with no slack or play in the mount! Very smooth. works great. Head also has 3 way adjustment. Azimuth/altitude/ and left and right tilt. This is a more sturdy tripod and mount then many AZ/ATL telescope mounts produced today. plus you have a crank (to use as slow motion control too) and center pedestal is spring loaded for height adjustment.
